Hello everyone, Today, I want to share a heartfelt story that beautifully intertwines the themes of happiness, community, and personal growth. Since July 2023, I have had the immense pleasure of volunteering as a literacy coach with Foundations Learning, a personalized tutoring initiative that connects trained volunteers with adult learners. This experience has been profoundly rewarding, not just for me but for all those involved. One of the highlights of my journey has been working with Muzhgan, a determined and inspiring learner who moved to Canada with the goal of improving her English skills and pursuing higher education. Under the Foundations Learning program, we have embarked on a shared journey of education and mutual support. Our collaboration has been a testament to the power of positivity and perseverance. Muzhgan’s optimism and dedication have been uplifting, reminding me of the importance of a supportive community and the joy it brings. In our sessions, we have not only focused on academic growth but also on fostering a sense of happiness and well-being.
